As a professional Celebrant, I aim to deliver fun, memorable and unique ceremonies for all of my clients.
However, terms and conditions must apply in order to protect all parties, ensuring that there is a clear understanding of all expectations.
At our meeting I will provide you with a booking form and contract.
If you are happy to work with me, the booking form will need to be signed and returned to me with your deposit which is fifty per cent of the fee, in order that I can proceed.
It is important that you understand that I am conducting a ceremony that is not legally binding.
It's a simple procedure to legally marry at your local council registry office for a small fee midweek, this can be done before, or after the ceremony.
Unfortunately deposits are generally non-refundable and full payment will be required with cleared funds fourteen days before the ceremony date.
Should you choose to cancel the ceremony I will reserve the right to retain any monies paid, within my own discretion.
Should the date change, I will do my best to be flexible.
If you choose to make changes in music, readings, vows, poetry, symbolic actions, participating people or anything that effects the ceremony. I will require at least two weeks notice of changes before your ceremony date.
The final version of the ceremony will need to be agreed by the client no later than ten days before the ceremony.
It is the clients responsibility to secure the venue and gain approval from their venue for unity ceremonies, especially where a flame is concerned.
The client must understand that Nancy Richardson will not be responsible for any accident or injury caused to anybody during any of these ceremonies.
Any food or drink used during any of these ceremonies need be supplied by the clients, as Nancy Richardson cannot be responsible for any food allergies or intolerances that could occur.
Nancy Richardson will travel within a 20 mile radius with no charge, thereafter .45p per mile will be charged.
Nancy Richardson will not be held responsible for lateness due to circumstances beyond her control.
Clients must sign a GDPR consent form, enabling Nancy Richardson to collect, process and keep personal data, and to make contacting line with UK GDPR legislation.
If Nancy Richardson is unable to deliver the ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, she will arrange for a fully qualified celebrant to deliver the ceremony in her place.
